Saddle Club Program
Saddle Club is one of Cheval's most popular programs. It is available for children aged 6 and up who want a weekly horse fix in their lives.
With a background in equestrian welfare and at-risk youth, we have successfully blended the comparisons in life. We promote responsibility, hard work, individual worth and confidence in all we do.
At Jeu de Cheval, we bring the old-school take on teaching all equestrian care, rather than plain and simple riding. Horses are hard work and riding them is a small component of owning or being around a horse. In fact, we think that being around them is a privilege!
Children will learn some theory, how to clean and care for tack, some basic equine nutrition, basic horse care, grooming, handling, tacking up and riding safely in a fun and supportive environment.
24th April - 26th June inclusive. $88 per lesson - ALL lessons for the term must be paid for. Saddle Club will run in all weather and in the event that children cannot ride, they will undertake theory lessons. Missed lessons can be made up with mid-week or Sunday Saddle Club.
BLUE group: 9am-1pm
RED group: 10am-1pm
YELLOW group: 11am-1pm
GREEN group: 11am-1pm
If you are unsure into which group your child would be allocated, please contact us. All new students must attend 4 short led trail rides or private lessons before commencing Saddle Club.
2nd May - 27th June (group 1) or 25th April - 20th June (group 2). $110 per lesson. ALL lessons for the term must be paid for. Missed lessons can be made up with mid-week or Saturday Saddle Club.
